We recently had Sophie Piercey, Notes of a Northerner, fly with us. Have a read at what she thought of her scenic flight to Milford Sound with us.
Sophie puts the flight to Milford Sound beautifully. She writes, “As we approached Milford Sound my heart started to beat a little faster. Rudyard Kipling once said that Milford Sound is the 8th wonder of the world, and mate, you’re right. Its one of those places that you need to visit, at least once in your life. I can’t quite explain how grand it is, the sheer size of the mountains is amplified when you put boats and planes next to them for size comparison.”
It really is the most incredible time for a scenic flight across the Southern Alps into Milford Sound. Winter is most definitely upon us, the temperature has dropped, the peaks are capped with snow and so we begin our winter schedule for our flights to Milford Sound.
